It's Baked Pears and Apple Pie Season...
Happy Autumn everyone! Once again we have made it to this magical time of year. We are reminded during this time that balance is utterly important (we see this today with the balance between the day and night). During this time of year things tend to get busy and hectic all the way through the holidays season. During this time of year, it is more important than any other time of year to have a daily routine, and try to stick with it. Getting up at the same time each day, eating food at the same times, going to bed at the same time, and even meditating at the same time. Having a normal routine will help to keep you grounded, balanced and reduce your stress during this time of year more than you realize. Additionally, soul warming foods like Baked Pears and Apple Pie (or even pumpkin) are great during this time of year. The warming herbs and spices in all of them help to keep our mind and body grounded and help to disperse stress from the system while also helping to regulate the digestive system.
Also, we're coming up on our 7 year Solar Return (Birthday) for our Business on September 26th (this Saturday). Stop in Sunday (9/27) and we'll have some Apple Crisp type stuff or something else nummy to share (homemade of course) :) And feel free to bring your computer in for a Seasonal Computer Tune-up, or get some Reiki with Becca.
Esogetics Certification Update...
Once again SchaOn is learning more stuff! He just completed the 10-Year Esogetics Certification Update this past weekend and learned several new therapies. This update was huge, and part of it was taught in August.
Some of the *new* therapies SchaOn's excited about:
Protocol for Obesity & Food cravings
Star of David on the neck (for hypo&hyper thyroid issues)
Reset of the Lymph (Line of Melancholy)
Fear Polarity Protocol
2 very powerful Sinus Release therapies
Additional training in Facial Physiognomy
Better Conflict/Trauma Release processes and protocols
New therapies for trauma during the Prenatal time
Square of Help
Rhombus of Freedom
Protocol for Polyneuropathy
Deeper therapies for the Pineal, Stress and Liver Functions
New therapies for Negative & Ancestral Attachments
...and about 70 other therapies!
Now is a great time to schedule an appointment. Initial 2-hour Consultations are normally $175, but we are running a special until October 15th for only $125. Reminder: If you make less than $15/hour, are a student or retired, you qualify for the reduced rate (no questions asked). The Reduced Rate for Initial Consultations are $89. Not sure if I'm the right therapist for you? We also offer a Free 30-minute Consultation for that exact reason!
Follow-up appointments (1 to 1-1/2 hours in length) are $89 - unless you qualify for the reduced rate, then they are $44. We also have our Monthly Memberships to help with budgeting and will save you a little bit of money as well.
*Note: Do you need another Initial Consultation? If we haven't seen you in the past 6 months, then yes, you would need to schedule it as a full Initial Consultation.
New Autumn/Winter Hours and changes to Onsite Services starting in October
Like every small business, we're constantly reassessing what is best for not just ourselves, but also for our clients. One of the things that we have always pride ourselves on is being here for our clients, offering the best possible client-centric services, while trying to keep our rates and fees affordable.
Starting in October, our normal businesses hours will be: Monday's, Tuesday's & Friday's: 10 AM to 6 PM Wednesday's & Thursday's: 10 AM to 8 PM Sunday's: 11 AM to 5 PM
This will help bring André's and SchaOn's work week down to 50 hours! We're very excited about that. *Note: Any clients that are already booked Monday evenings, those appointment times will still be honored!
Changes to Onsite Services Now, we also realize that André only being available on Tuesdays for onsite services (especially with the reduction in Tuesday hours) is not very feasible. So, instead, Onsite Services will be available all week long (limited though)... as long as there is an opening. You will have to call to schedule an onsite service, and they will only be scheduled during times that we can avoid rush hour traffic.
Wellness Product Highlight
ProVata Tea by R•U•VED
The ProVata tea is a Grounding & Warming tea that is perfect for fall! When Vata is in balance people feel calm, have linear thoughts and a good, warm body temperature. When it is out of balance people often feel stressed, twitchy, have disjointed thoughts and feel cold physically as well as emotionally.
Vata type people generally are more slender, frequently on the go, have a lot on their minds and are easily chilled. Vata represents the elements of Air and Ether (which is the season we are in right now --- think the wind, falling leaves, and the thinning of the veil near Samhain/Halloween). Vata is constantly active, physically and mentally.
Ajwain (provides relief from gas & bloating)
Black Cardamom (supports healthy digestion for Vata)
Cinnamon (supports blood sugar levels already in normal range)
Fennel (helps a tense mind, provides relief from gas & bloating)
Licorice (a nourishing herb that promotes balanced energy)
*Note: The pyramid-shaped tea bags used are fully compostable :)
Fall Computer Tip: "Back it up"!
Backing up your files is pretty much a normal part in today's life, though many often get complacent with this sometimes simple task. We feel we need to remind everyone that right now it's more important then ever to make sure you have a current backup as we've been seeing more and more computers lately coming in for downgrades from Windows 10, and Windows 10 upgrade corruptions. Additionally, we have been hearing from some individuals that Windows 10 just installed on their computer without them telling it to, which is slightly concerning as honestly, there are still some "issues" with Windows 10.
Remember, have a local backup (normally on an external drive), as well as having remote backups as well. If you need a remote backup solution, you can find some on our website.
What all do we offer here? That's a pretty big question as we offer a lot!
Wellness appointments with SchaOn, including: Esogetics Holistic Medicine (Colorpuncture, Holographic Crystal Therapies, I-Ching therapies, Pre-Natal & Ancestor Trauma Release therapies and a lot more), Basic Ayurvedic Medicine principles, Complex Homeopathics, Access Bars, BodyTalk Access and a bunch more (see his Client Bill of Rights for the full list)
Grow your business through Business Consulting Services with Frank Raasch, call 952-641-7415 x121 for additional information.
Additionally, on the Health side of our business, we also offer Monthly Wellness Membership to help keep maintaining your wellness more affordable. Also, almost any and all supplements can be purchased through our Online Dispensary - plus, we give you 5-15% off on each order!
And as always --- please keep referring people to us (on the tech side, for computer clients we give you a $10 credit towards future service --- on the health side we are not allowed to do that). If they have questions about what we do, or if we can help (which is very common on the health side of our business)... have them give us a call. We're pretty friendly and try to explain things well.

Greening America's Games
Major Leagues Sport More Sustainable Stadiums
Traditional sports stadiums and arenas generate a huge carbon footprint. Multiple sources concur that during a single football game, a 78,000-seat stadium can consume 65,000 kilowatt hours of electricity, and discarded cardboard, plastic and paper; in-stadium food and beverage containers; and tailgating debris that includes cans and bottles leave behind a mountain of waste.
A dozen years ago, the pioneering Philadelphia Eagles enlisted the help of the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) to begin a persistent push to their goal of going green. Today, the NRDC publishes the Greening Advisor guidebooks on green operating practices for all professional teams in Major League Baseball, the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, the National Hockey League and Major League Soccer, plus the U.S. Tennis Association, and has expanded to include college sports.
The Twin Cities Holistic & Greener Directory was created to be an affordable online resource for small and local businesses within the Twin Cities Metro region who are more holistically minded and focused on greener options and services.
Are you a small business owner? Make sure to get listed! It's fast, easy and affordable!
